I will note that I was also confused that I needed to resubscribe to MWK via Substack. I only found my way back here because of your IG story about today’s edition and not being able to find it in my inbox.

you definitely did not need to resubscribe on substack! i think you just didn't get the email because you have the substack app (i assume) and there's a setting where if you have the app it doesn't send you the emails, just pushes them to your app. either way it's very annoying and i'm sorry lol

Congratulations on going back on your own. When you joined Morning Brew a few years ago, I was a little worried you were getting sucked back into the corporate world you managed to escape.
A recent update I noticed on Copilot is that for restaurants it notes your tipped amount for some transactions. I think it depends on how it’s processed, but I did notice a dot next to a restaurant transaction and when you click on it, it says what the tip was. Kind of a nice feature I didn’t know I needed.
I made that miso maple roast with sweet potato mash last week and it was one of the best things i've cooked in the last year. thai potsticker soup on for this week, i'm so excited!
The white-collar job market really is staggering. Just spend 30 seconds on LinkedIn and you’ll see a parade of folks lamenting just how broken the job market, how much it has changed and how disillusioned they are about it. It’s a scary, scary time for a lot of people.
