As a former private banker who has seen tax returns from hundreds of the ultra wealthy, I was radicalized when I realized how few of them claim much income (and therefore pay little to no tax). They are all broke on paper, having siphoned their millions/billions into complex entity and trust structures. I’d also like to note that “the 1%” is not a fixed group! Many taxpayers get there once, or occasionally, in the year they sell a business for example. Which should possibly matter as we plebes argue about what tax rates should be while the real wealthy evade the whole system.

Also, why does everyone I talk to love Mr. Beast's gameshow? Yeah, he's giving people money, but he's really testing people that have been so beat down that they're willing to publicly humiliate themselves just to get a taste of wealth. Revolution-worthy.
Anyone who liked that physics of time video should read “Einstein’s Dreams” which is a collection of short stories written about his writings explaining in real world terms his theory of general relativity interspersed with the story of him working in the patent office and living like a regular person. It’s a short read, strange at times, but very enlightening!

Also, as a software engineer, it terrifies me to read about companies only using AI to write code. The code it produces is often buggy, not secure, and it can take many iterations to generate in a maintainable way. This basically makes me trust Spotify even less than I already did.
AI can be useful in *helping* write code but developers should be responsible for what is generated and often changes are required.
